Refund and Shipping Policy

Every Obsidian order is handled with the same precision as the testing behind it. Here is exactly how orders ship, and what happens if something goes wrong.

Shipping.

We ship within the United States only. All orders ship from California via USPS, with tracking. Orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days after payment is confirmed. Orders placed on weekends or holidays are processed the next business day. We may hold an order for additional review when needed for payment verification, fraud prevention, or compliance. A tracking number is emailed once your order ships. Delivery times are carrier estimates, not guarantees. Shipping rates are shown at checkout.

Shipping address.

Please check your shipping address before ordering. Orders delayed, returned, or lost because of an incorrect address entered at checkout are not eligible for a refund.

Order cancellations.

Orders cancelled before they ship receive a full refund. Once an order ships, it cannot be cancelled. Refused deliveries are not eligible for a refund of shipping costs.

Returns.

We cannot accept returns on any product once the seal has been opened. Unopened, unused, sealed, and unaltered product in its original condition may be returned within 14 days of delivery. Returns require written approval from us before anything is shipped back. Contact jose.bd@obxbio.com to request one. Return shipping is paid by the customer unless the return is due to our error. We are not responsible for unapproved returns or return shipments lost in transit.

Wrong, missing, or damaged items.

Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photos or video of the package, shipping label, and contents. Once verified, we will ship a replacement at no cost and handle the carrier claim.

Lost packages.

If tracking shows a delay, allow up to 5 business days beyond the estimated delivery date. If the package still hasn't arrived, contact us within 14 days of the expected delivery date. We will open a claim with the carrier, and once the carrier confirms the package is lost, we will reship at no cost. Claims received after 14 days may not be eligible. Packages marked delivered by the carrier require a carrier investigation first, and we are not responsible for packages confirmed delivered to the address entered at checkout.

Refunds.

Approved refunds go to the original payment method within 5 to 7 business days of approval. For cryptocurrency orders, refunds are issued in the same stablecoin used for payment, for the U.S. dollar amount of the order, to a wallet address you provide in writing. Because crypto transactions cannot be reversed, we are not responsible for funds sent to an incorrect wallet address you provide.
