The Obsidian standard applies to every order, and so do these Terms. By using obxbio.com or placing an order, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the site or place an order.

Research Use Only.

For Research Use Only. Not for human or veterinary use. Not for diagnostic, therapeutic, or clinical use. This product has not been evaluated by the FDA and is intended solely for laboratory and research purposes by qualified professionals.

Prohibited uses.

Products are sold strictly for in vitro laboratory research. They are not drugs, foods, dietary supplements, cosmetics, or medical devices. They may not be used for human or animal consumption or administration of any kind, for clinical, diagnostic, or therapeutic purposes, or resold for any unauthorized purpose.

Eligibility and buyer representations.

By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 21 years old, that you are purchasing for legitimate laboratory research only, that you are qualified to handle research materials, and that the information you provide is accurate.

Orders and our right to refuse.

An order is accepted only when it ships. We may refuse, cancel, or limit any order, limit quantities, or request verification of your research affiliation, at our sole discretion. This includes any order that appears fraudulent, contains inaccurate information, creates a compliance concern, or where the buyer indicates in any communication an intent to use a product on humans or animals. Paid orders that we cancel are refunded to the original payment method.

No medical or usage advice.

We do not provide medical advice, dosing information, or instructions for use. Nothing on this site or in any communication from us is a claim about the safety or effect of any product in humans or animals.

Product information.

We work to keep descriptions, pricing, and availability accurate, and may correct errors at any time, including after an order is placed. Every order includes the batch record and Certificate of Analysis for the batch supplied.

Pricing and payment.

Prices are in U.S. dollars and may change without notice. Payment is due in full at checkout. Cryptocurrency orders are converted at the rate shown at checkout and must be received in full before the order ships.

Shipping and risk of loss.

Shipping, returns, and refunds are governed by our Refund and Shipping Policy. Title and risk of loss pass to you when the order is delivered to the carrier.

Buyer responsibility.

You are responsible for following all laws that apply to purchasing, possessing, storing, handling, and disposing of research materials where you are located. We are not responsible for how products are handled, stored, or used after delivery.

Disclaimer of warranties.

Except as stated on the Certificate of Analysis for the batch supplied, all products are provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Obsidian Biologics LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or misuse of any product or this site. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the product involved.

Indemnification.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Obsidian Biologics LLC and its owners from any claims, losses, or expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your use or misuse of any product, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law.

Intellectual property.

All site content, including the Obsidian Biologics name, logo, product names, text, and images, belongs to Obsidian Biologics LLC and may not be used without written permission.

Governing law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.

Changes.

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept them.
